Public Health England statistics show that around a third of people aged 65 and over fall at least once a year. Non-slip socks are used in hospitals and clinics to help prevent these unnecessary accidental falls. Especially at risk are the elderly and infirm inpatients.

Comfortable and easy to put on and take off, the non-slip socks are inexpensive and convenient for all healthcare providers and nursing homes.

The slipper socks feature silicon tread on the top of the foot and the sole of the foot. The socks with tread on both sides, called double tread, are designed to ensure that even if the sock slips around the foot, the patient is less likely to fall.

Large- Blue (size 4-6)

XL- Red (size 7-8)

2XL- Pale Grey (size 8-10)

3XL- Dark Grey (size 11+)

    Description

    The non slip socks feature silicon tread on both the top of the foot and the sole of the foot. The socks with tread on both sides, called double tread, are designed to ensure that even if the sock slips around the foot, the patient is less likely to fall.

    Notes: Latex-free. Unisex socks.

    Varieties: Tread on both sides (Double tread) available in most sizes.

    Washable: Not suitable for laundering – patient specific for single use.

    Patients who are at a higher risk of falling over can wear fall prevention anti slip slipper socks in bright yellow to highlight the extra risk to nurses and carers.
